Eva Gonzalez<\/strong> is PhD in Molecular Biology, is a Senior scientist and <strong><em>group leader<\/em> <\/strong>of the Transformation and Metastasis laboratory, at the <em>Spanish National Cancer Research Center (CNIO)<\/em> in Madrid, Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Her academic merits and research have been recognized with an<strong><em> ERC-Consolidator<\/em><\/strong> grant, <strong><em>ERC-Proof<\/em> <\/strong>of Concept, a Susan Komen career catalyst grant, overlapping grants from multiple public and private agencies, and several awards. She is member of experts committee in several institutions as the <em><strong>Agencia Estatal de Investigaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/em>, European network of breast development and cancer (<em><strong>ENBDC<\/strong><\/em>), among others, and has supervised several P<strong><em>hD students and postdocs<\/em><\/strong>. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Research in her laboratory aims to <em><strong>identify<\/strong><\/em> novel targets for breast <em><strong>cancer<\/strong><\/em> treatment and understand mechanisms of resistance to current drugs. She has more than <strong><em>50 publications<\/em><\/strong>, half of them in D1 and half as corresponding author.<\/p>\n<p>To <strong><em>highlight<\/em><\/strong> a topic of her extensive research career, one of her main contributions of research has focused on the role of <strong><em>RANK<\/em><\/strong> in mammary epithelial homeostasis, breast cancer and tumor immunology, with studies from basic to clinical research. She is member of experts committee in several institutions as the <em><strong>Agencia Estatal de Investigaci\\u00f3n<\\\/strong><\\\/em>, European network of breast development and cancer (<em><strong>ENBDC<\\\/strong><\\\/em>), among others, and has supervised several P<strong><em>hD students and postdocs<\\\/em><\\\/strong>. \\u00a0<\\\/p>\\n\n\n<p>Research in her laboratory aims to <em><strong>identify<\\\/strong><\\\/em> novel targets for breast <em><strong>cancer<\\\/strong><\\\/em> treatment and understand mechanisms of resistance to current drugs. She has more than <strong><em>50 publications<\\\/em><\\\/strong>, half of them in D1 and half as corresponding author.<\\\/p>\\n\n\n<p>To <strong><em>highlight<\\\/em><\\\/strong> a topic of her extensive research career, one of her main contributions of research has focused on the role of <strong><em>RANK<\\\/em><\\\/strong> in mammary epithelial homeostasis, breast cancer and tumor immunology, with studies from basic to clinical research.
